My dog is on his second bottle. He has cushings disease and vet can't give him meds for it due to a mass on his liver. He has sores on his skin . I had hoped this would help . I don't see it yet. That being said g said he still loves to walk, eat , etc and does not seem to be in pain. Just painful to look at.

We purchased this supplement for our dog after she experienced decreased liver function following an infection. I appreciate that this product provides transparency around quality testing, including third-party testing and cGMP manufacturing, which can be difficult to find with pet supplements.The tablets are easy to give. Our dog is already used to taking pills, but we also found that cutting it up and wrapping it in a small amount of goat cheese made it even easier for her to take and disguise some of the odor. It's not really something she would chew on her own. So far it's hard to say what its effectiveness is is but we will have to wait and see.I like that the formula includes ingredients commonly used in liver support supplements, such as SAM-e and milk thistle. While we are still monitoring her health with our veterinarian, I feel better knowing we chose a product from a company that emphasizes quality control and testing. This seems like a thoughtfully made supplement with good quality standards, and it has been easy to incorporate into our dog's routine.

I fostered a 6 y.o. Havipoo that had a history of elevated liver enzymes. I picked him up 6 hrs away. He came with a vet report but no meds. I found this supplement as an alternative to the liver support medication that the dog had been taking according to his records. I wasn't sure how soon I could take the dog to a new vet for a new script. I don't know how the price of this supplement compares to the prescription. The pills are regular sized, but a little large for a 14 lb dog. The pills are unflavored and appear chewable. It took me several tries to sneak this into the dog, so I recommend wrapping it in cheese, a pill wrap or peanut butter. I tried crushing a pill but the dog detected it right away. I cannot rate this supplement's effectiveness without monitoring the dog's liver enzymes over time. But, the supplement is made in the U.S., has undergone lots of testing and is identical to a popular vet prescribed medication. It didn't cause any noticeable side effects. I just think this is overpriced and would only purchase it when it's on sale.

Supplementing these is not a cure for anything, but that doesn't mean it's not useful for general health.Taste: This, like all capsules, should be incorporated into wet food or some other flavor disguise, at least for my dogs :-)Value for money: Fair price, if it's actually tested and certified as the branding/description indicates.Digestibility: no apparent problemsEase of use: must be snuck into wet/soft food, unless you have a unicorn dog who likes to swallow capsules without issue :-)

I wanted to like this supplement because I appreciate the ingredients and the focus on liver support. Unfortunately, neither of my two dogs would willingly eat the tablets, even when I tried hiding them in food and treats. Since they wouldn't consistently take them, I wasn't able to evaluate whether they provided any noticeable benefit. The ingredients seem thoughtfully chosen, but palatability was the biggest challenge for us. If your dog isn't particularly picky, you may have better luck than I did.
